- The Network
- This network, an oval of 11.50 by 4.50 metres, is composed of four parts:
- 1. The Station Part
- This part is composed of four straight modules with a total length of 6.80 m. There is an inside and an outside circuit.
- Each circuit is composed of three tracks; one of the tracks is used to shunt trains, or to store railcars or other small units.
- The relays of this part are located under one of the modules, with the other three linked by multiple-circuit connections.
- The points in this part are set from a signalling panel.
- This part is supplied with dc current directly from the command desk.
- The point motors are supplied with dc current from two +12V and -12V transformers.
- It is planned to fit platforms and visible signals.
- 2. The Right Curve
- All the modules are numbered and are not interchangeable.
- It is used to access the storage tracks
- .
- 3. The Yard Area
- This area can hold four trains each for the inside and outside circuits.
- This part of the network is designed to function automatically: the arrival of one train dispatches another. This system allows twelve trains to be run.
- The relays of this part are located under one of the modules, with the other three linked by multiple-circuit connections.
- The various currents are supplied by external cabling.
- 4 The Left Curve
- Ballasting is planned for this year.
